Study details

In this study, participants will be asked to come to Shepherd Center in Atlanta for a 75-minute user testing study. Participants will discuss their history with using home appliances and then test 2-3 appliances. They will give their feedback on the usability and accessibility of those appliances. Data gathered from this study will be used to improve the usability and accessibility of LG’s home appliances.

Eligibility

To be eligible you must:

  • Be blind or Use a wheelchair (power or manual)
  • Use appliances in your home regularly
  • Prefer using English primarily for reading, writing, speaking
  • Live in or near Atlanta and be willing to travel to Shepherd Center
  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Be a member of the Accessibility User Research Collective (AURC)
